Responsibilities
- Develop firmware for next-generation SmartNICs.
- Validate firmware functionality and silicon designs before tape-out.
- Bring up new silicon after tape-out.
- Implement congestion control, virtualization, QoS, and other firmware features.
- Support local customers in resolving deployment issues.
- Develop ideas to improve products and efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering or a related area.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong C programming capability.
- Hands-on experience with embedded system design.
- Knowledge of embedded SoC architecture, network protocols, data structures, and embedded operating systems.
- Fluent written and spoken English, including the ability to read technical documentation and organize meetings in English.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, C++, Python, and shell scripting is a plus.
- Experience with Verilog, VHDL, RDMA, or virtio is a plus.
- Self-starting, responsible, adaptable, collaborative, and enthusiastic approach to assignments.
