Responsibilities
- Partner with business verticals to identify modernization opportunities.
- Engage in pre-sales activities, lead generation, and proposal creation.
- Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives to achieve business goals.
- Create solution content and define repeatable practices for scaling efforts.
- Drive the creation of industry-leading IP for modernizing legacy systems.
- Support delivery teams by ensuring they have necessary resources.
- Stay current with Thoughtworks' business strategy and technology goals.
- Achieve billing targets through client engagements.
Requirements
- Experience in modernisation and migration in large-scale organizations.
- Strong technical background with familiarity in multiple programming paradigms.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies like Kubernetes, Kafka, and PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of evolutionary architectures and modern architecture principles.
- Experience in building cloud-native architectures using microservices.
- Ability to understand various levels of consistency in systems.
- Knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery approaches.
- Experience in building security and performance management functions.
- Strong client-facing skills with effective communication abilities.
- Familiarity with Agile, Lean, and Continuous Delivery methodologies.
