Responsibilities
- Design architecture for test, build, and deployment pipelines and platform services supporting factory software.
- Provide hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and deployment of infrastructure across on-premises, remote factory, and cloud environments.
- Diagnose CI/CD pipeline issues, deploy into new factory networks, and review technical contributions.
- Guide technical decisions across hardware, hypervisors, container orchestration, platform services, application software, robotics, and cloud systems.
- Advise teams on regulatory, security, and DevOps best practices.
- Support developers and stakeholders in making effective use of the platform.
- Gather and refine technical and business requirements and evaluate and integrate new technologies.
Requirements
- Strong background designing, implementing, and deploying platform infrastructure and services for software delivery.
- At least five years of experience in software, DevOps, platform, or infrastructure roles.
- Excellent understanding of infrastructure automation tools and scripting, including Terraform, Ansible, Python, and Bash.
- Ability to design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines with high-quality technical documentation.
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices and experience with tools such as Bitbucket, GitHub, Jenkins, and CircleCI.
- Practical experience with servers, networking, storage, virtualization, containerization, or cloud infrastructure such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience deploying infrastructure for software delivery to on-premises and remote environments.
- Degree or vocational qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Interest or previous experience with robotic automation systems or regulated environments is desirable.
- Understanding of security best practices in DevOps is desirable.
