Responsibilities

Build production-grade ELT/ETL data pipelines and batch and streaming ingestion solutions.
Implement Apache Iceberg and Delta Lake storage formats and optimize large-scale data transformations.
Implement data quality controls and support data lineage, governance, CI/CD, and deployment processes.
Deliver governed data products, self-service analytics capabilities, semantic models, curated data layers, and AI/ML-ready datasets.
Promote scalable, reproducible cloud lakehouse architectures and support regulatory and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, analytics teams, data scientists, and engineers to deliver business-focused solutions.
Use AI agents and AI tools to accelerate coding, testing, migrations, SQL optimization, prompt creation, and technical documentation.

At least 3 years of experience in data engineering.
Experience building enterprise-scale data platforms and working in Amazon Web Services environments.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
Advanced SQL expertise and strong Python and Apache Spark (PySpark) skills.
Experience with Snowflake and lakehouse platforms, plus knowledge of Apache Iceberg and Delta Lake.
Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices, and with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
Understanding of data governance and quality frameworks.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, collaboration, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Knowledge of investment management data domains is advantageous.
