Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance the Open Telekom Cloud platform in a customer-oriented manner.
- Solve complex problems in the daily operation of a hyperscale cloud backend.
- Work hardware-oriented at the console and perform hands-on operational tasks.
- Develop and operate monitoring and quality assurance.
- Automate processes using common automation frameworks.
- Collaborate with specialists in an open and trusting team.
Requirements
- Completed studies in a technical, engineering, or scientific subject or comparable professional training.
- At least one year of professional IT experience focused on modern cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of software-defined networks, routing, firewalls, and physical networks.
- Knowledge of infrastructure automation.
- Experience with Linux and network-related services.
- Ability to assess technical solutions and develop creative approaches.
- Customer focus and knowledge of agile development processes.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- OpenStack and programming experience in open-source projects are advantageous.
