Responsibilities
- Design and develop RESTful APIs in C#, ASP.NET Core, and .NET.
- Analyze and migrate WCF and .NET Framework 4.8 services to REST APIs hosted on Azure.
- Maintain and evolve legacy services while running legacy and modern environments in parallel without disruption.
- Design integration processes using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, and API Management.
- Define API contracts, versioning, backward compatibility, error handling, and other API standards.
- Apply secure API design patterns using OAuth 2.0 and Entra ID.
- Contribute to Azure DevOps CI/CD automation and deployment strategies.
- Mentor developers and contribute to technical standards and code reviews.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of C# and .NET development experience.
- Experience with ASP.NET Core Web API, REST principles, .NET Framework 4.8, and WCF, including SOAP, WSDL, bindings, and .svc services.
- Experience with Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Service Bus.
- Hands-on experience migrating or rebuilding existing services toward modern architectures.
- Strong knowledge of OAuth, API security, and JSON/XML transformations.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server and Entity Framework.
- Experience with CLI tools, Postman, and Swagger.
- Experience implementing CI/CD with Azure DevOps.
- Fluency in French and English, verbally and in writing.
- Microsoft certifications, experience with microservices or large-scale enterprise systems, EDI services, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Platform, or JavaScript/TypeScript front-end development are assets.
