Responsibilities

Design and modify reusable components for CBC/Radio-Canada digital platforms, such as the audio/video player.
Coordinate front-end product development and technical work with product owners, architects, and technical managers.
Ensure product standards, quality, and application performance under high loads.
Participate in user-story development, sprint planning, retrospectives, code reviews, application deployments, and Agile Scrum activities.
Monitor digital-development trends and proactively propose solutions to technical challenges.

University degree or equivalent experience.
At least 3 years of software development experience.
Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, and WebAPI, with an excellent grasp of REST API principles.
Knowledge of Git, SQL Server, and Entity Framework.
Bilingual written and spoken English and French is mandatory.
Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, teamwork, independence, resourcefulness, and priority-setting skills.
Knowledge of Redis, JavaScript/TypeScript, Azure Data Lake, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure cloud, web audio-video streaming, other programming languages, and design patterns is an asset.

Hybrid work with a mix of in-office and remote work, with arrangements discussed according to departmental guidelines.
Full-time 12-month contract position renewable annually.
