Responsibilities
- Design and modify reusable components for CBC/Radio-Canada’s digital platforms, including audio/video players.
- Ensure product quality, performance, and compliance with development standards throughout project execution.
- Propose solutions to development challenges and stay current with digital development trends.
- Participate in Agile Scrum activities, user-story development, sprint planning, retrospectives, code reviews, application deployments, and production adjustments.
- Develop applications capable of handling high loads and contribute to measuring results from completed projects.
Requirements
- A university degree or equivalent experience is required.
- At least 3 years of software development experience is required.
- Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, and WebAPI, with an excellent understanding of REST API principles.
- Knowledge of Git, SQL Server, and Entity Framework.
- Knowledge of Redis, JavaScript/TypeScript, Azure Data Lake, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure cloud, web audio-video broadcasting, other programming languages, and design patterns is an asset.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, teamwork, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required.
- Bilingual English and French speaking and writing ability is mandatory.
