Base Salary

Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement scalable, production-grade AI, generative AI, and agentic AI solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Design AI platform solutions involving LLM integration, RAG pipelines, memory systems, tool/function calling, and multi-agent orchestration.
  • Develop reusable patterns, reference architectures, design standards, target-state architectures, and technology roadmaps.
  • Conduct hands-on prototyping and lead technology proofs of concept to validate architecture solutions.
  • Support AI governance, risk management, responsible AI, and compliant production deployments.
  • Partner with engineering, product, business, and technology leadership to secure alignment and communicate architectural direction.
  • Drive technology modernization, identify emerging technology opportunities, and help minimize technical debt.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related STEM or technology field, or equivalent education and/or work experience.
  • At least 6 additional years of architecture or software engineering experience; the ideal candidate profile cites 8 years of architecture experience.
  • Hands-on experience developing and deploying AI/ML systems, including knowledge of ML algorithms and neural network architectures.
  • Experience with generative AI, LLMs, transformer architectures, prompt engineering, agentic AI patterns, RAG, memory systems, vector databases, and multi-agent orchestration.
  • Familiarity with MLOps, AI Ops, AI/ML workflow automation, and cloud AI services, particularly AWS Bedrock and AgentCore.
  • Experience with agent orchestration frameworks and integration protocols such as LangChain, Strands, Crew AI, and MCP.
  • Experience with agentic coding tools including Claude Enterprise/CLI/Code, OpenAI Codex, and GitHub Copilot.
  • Working knowledge of responsible AI, AI ethics, governance frameworks, risk management, and compliance considerations such as the EU AI Act, NAIC, and NIST AI RMF.
  • Strong architecture and recent hands-on engineering experience with modern technologies and large-scale technology initiatives.
  • Advanced leadership, communication, collaboration, strategic planning, decision-making, and stakeholder-influence skills.
  • Experience with transformational change, business capability models, and insurance technology is preferred.
