Responsibilities
- Prepare and develop technical presentations to explain products or services to customers.
- Discuss equipment needs and system requirements with customers and engineers.
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
- Research and modify products to meet customers' technical needs.
- Solicit and log client feedback to create new sales and marketing strategies.
- Identify areas for improvement and communicate solutions to upper management.
- Set and achieve sales goals and quotas.
- Train other sales team members on technical aspects of products and services.
Requirements
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer-facing skills directed toward C-Level and Developers.
- Linux experience is a must.
- Knowledge of NoSQL, Relational, Distributed, and MPP databases.
- Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Experience with Hadoop, Spark, HBase, HDFS, Hive, and Impala.
- Independent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Understanding of mission-critical applications.
- Ability to provide feedback to product management and engineering.
- Experience enabling customers through meetups and training sessions.
- Knowledge of Knowledge Graph, Timeseries, and Feature Stores.
- Strong coding skills in at least one language: Java, C/C++, Python, or Go.
