Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with peers and stakeholders through design and code reviews to promote code quality, testability, efficiency, and best practices.
- Translate research into product improvements and improved generative AI quality.
- Develop and evaluate ML models using large-scale user log data.
- Build infrastructure for large-scale data processing and perform statistical data analysis to derive actionable insights.
- Apply ML models to improve the quality of core Google products.
- Design and implement solutions in specialized ML areas while leveraging ML infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
- At least 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- At least 3 years of experience with LLMs, NLP, HCI, computer vision, or related areas.
- At least 3 years of experience with ML infrastructure, including model deployment, evaluation, optimization, data processing, or debugging.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: applied ML experience with LLMs and NLP, TensorFlow, Python, and building or launching ML models.
- Strong analytical abilities for data analysis.
