Responsibilities
- Develop and modify application projects for Copart’s global expansion.
- Build efficient and secure applications, peer-review code, and document solutions.
- Collaborate with program managers, business analysts, team leads, infrastructure, security, and quality assurance teams.
- Write unit tests and contribute to process and engineering excellence improvements.
- Develop real-time web applications and use AI-assisted coding approaches.
- Document business logic flows and technical solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or a similar field.
- Strong experience with Spring Boot, MVC, and other Spring modules.
- Experience with Core Java and multithreaded programming.
- Experience writing unit tests with JUnit and mocking frameworks.
- Experience with Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, jQuery, AJAX, CSS, and client-side MVC JavaScript frameworks.
- Knowledge of emerging AI tooling and coding assistants such as Claude and Copilot.
- Understanding of n-tier architecture and development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving, documentation, technical writing, communication, and learning abilities.
- Preferred experience with Unix, Linux, Solaris, RESTful web services, Apache, Tomcat, SQL, stored procedures, DB2, MySQL, Maria, Maven, Jenkins, and Git.
