Responsibilities
- Write production code and own architecture for a tribe.
- Lead and deliver cross-team and cross-tribe technical initiatives.
- Improve the stability, performance, scalability, quality, and reliability of business-critical systems.
- Set technical direction, make architectural trade-offs, and develop multi-year technology strategies.
- Mentor engineers, facilitate technical discussions, and build consensus across teams.
- Build systems, author tools, and introduce patterns or policies that improve engineering productivity.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Data, and QA to support clear goals and timely delivery.
- Represent Fresha’s technology externally through talks, blog posts, and technical community engagement.
Requirements
- Deep experience building and interacting with AI agents and integrating them into engineering workflows while maintaining architecture, security, and quality standards.
- Proven delivery of large systems involving contributions from one or more teams.
- Ability to solve complex problems, debug difficult issues, and simplify projects, services, and processes.
- Experience shaping architecture and shipping multiple large services, complex libraries, or major infrastructure.
- Experience developing technology strategy for critical business areas spanning multiple systems and teams.
- Ability to set technical direction over a six- to twelve-month horizon and influence stakeholders across the business.
- Recognized technical contributor, role model, mentor, and collaborative team player who can facilitate decisions and communicate clearly.
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
