Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud solutions across hybrid-cloud environments.
- Improve cloud governance, security, scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Provision, configure, upgrade, and monitor Kubernetes, Spark, Kafka, and distributed database technologies.
- Automate infrastructure management and development pipelines using infrastructure-as-code and automation tools.
- Evaluate solution architectures and provide technical recommendations.
- Monitor systems, clusters, and cloud deployments to detect errors and assess performance.
- Lead technical initiatives, influence architectural decisions, and mentor engineers.
- Collaborate with Trading, Development, Infrastructure, Operations, and business teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, SRE, DevOps, or related infrastructure roles.
- Deep production experience deploying, operating, and scaling Kubernetes, including on-premise clusters and Amazon EKS.
- Strong expertise designing and managing AWS cloud infrastructure; Google Cloud experience is a plus.
- Advanced Terraform and infrastructure-as-code experience, including reusable modules, state management, and platform automation.
- Experience building and operating highly available, scalable, secure cloud-native platforms.
- Strong knowledge of observability, monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational troubleshooting.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
- Strong Linux systems administration and distributed-production troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
- Experience with Amazon RDS, Aurora, Redshift, and DynamoDB.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification is preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
