Base Salary
$126k - $264k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop core software for Oracle Database and Exadata focused on scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Design scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems for large on-premises and cloud environments.
- Collaborate with cloud teams to deliver stable, high-performance systems.
- Work on software supporting mission-critical OLTP, analytics, and cloud database workloads.
Requirements
- BS, MS, PhD, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of software development experience.
- Strong C/C++ programming skills and experience developing on Linux.
- Strong background in distributed systems, operating systems, networking, and storage systems.
- Solid understanding of computer architecture, memory hierarchy, I/O, and concurrency.
- Database experience and Rust programming experience are preferred.
