Base Salary
$109k - $164k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop feature test plans and perform comprehensive end-to-end validation and testing for advanced wireless software subsystems.
- Plan and execute validation for development milestones, operator trials, demonstrations, and industry showcases.
- Develop and maintain test frameworks, test utilities, automated tests, and continuous or nightly regression suites.
- Establish software, hardware, and network environments for system integration and testing.
- Collaborate with software development and system test teams on releases and end-to-end feature integration.
- Debug embedded software and troubleshoot complex software, hardware, and network integration issues.
- Develop networking diagnostics, data visualization, and system performance analysis tools.
- Work with advanced compute, device, hardware, and software platforms for next-generation wireless systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in C, C++, and Python programming.
- Understanding of multithreading and operating system fundamentals.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Preferred: master’s degree or two years of embedded software engineering experience.
- Preferred: familiarity with Linux-based development, release, and deployment environments.
- Preferred: experience with embedded software debugging, end-to-end software integration, test frameworks, regression automation, and CI/CD workflows.
- Preferred: experience with telecom test equipment, network configuration, and performance-monitoring tools.
- Preferred: knowledge of virtualization, cloud computing, containerization, orchestration, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, network protocols, wireless systems, QoS frameworks, 5G NR, LTE, and 802.11.
