Responsibilities
- Develop application software for rail Door, HVAC, and PD&G projects using C, C++, ISAGRAF, or other development platforms.
- Test software on mockups and write or review software documentation, including software plans and SATS.
- Troubleshoot and monitor software on trains and customer sites to support service engineers.
- Maintain and improve project software and diagnose controller I/O ports and controller issues.
- Review system cabling layouts and components and provide technical clarification to internal departments and customers.
- Train customers on electrical and software topics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in Computer Science or Automation.
- At least 3 years of work experience.
- Good skills and experience with C or C++ and familiarity with application software development.
- Good knowledge of networks including RS485, CAN, and Ethernet.
- Good spoken English and CET4; CET6 is preferred.
- Embedded-system and transportation-system familiarity is a plus.
- MVB and HDLC knowledge is a plus.
- Good communication skills, honesty, and willingness to take responsibility.
