Responsibilities
- Define long-term system strategies and technology roadmaps with stakeholders.
- Translate business problems and software specifications into high-level technical architectures and solid designs.
- Improve application performance and scalability while satisfying non-functional requirements.
- Standardize technical solutions, development processes, and coding rules.
- Manage technical risks to support stable system operation.
- Review system designs and source code and contribute to team capability improvement.
- Communicate with key stakeholders and provide technical leadership.
Requirements
- 15 or more years of Web-layer and Java architecture design and implementation experience.
- At least 5 years of advanced application design and development experience involving non-functional requirements.
- At least 5 years of experience as a senior system design and source-code reviewer.
- At least 5 years of experience serving as a lead engineer.
- Strong negotiation, communication, logical-thinking, flexibility, multitasking, initiative, curiosity, self-learning, and motivation skills.
- Preferred: team-leading or group-management experience.
- Preferred: development-process design or standardization experience.
- Preferred: experience selecting, adopting, introducing, and practically applying system architectures.
- Preferred: experience planning and realizing next-generation system architectures.
- Preferred: experience creating engineering recruitment plans and branding, recruiting, and training engineers.
