Base Salary
$200k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, reliable data infrastructure systems.
- Develop robust data processing frameworks and storage solutions.
- Implement data validation, monitoring, and observability systems.
- Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and operations teams.
- Establish best practices for data engineering and mentor team members.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python and at least one systems-level language (Go preferred).
- Deep experience designing and building data platforms.
- Understanding of distributed computing principles.
- Advanced SQL skills for data modeling and query optimization.
- Familiarity with modern DevOps practices including CI/CD and containerization.
- Ability to drive projects from conception to production with minimal supervision.
- Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
