Responsibilities
- Own and drive the end-to-end engineering delivery of the Embedded Accountancy Project.
- Guide system design, optimize data logic, and ensure scalable, maintainable financial integrations.
- Design and integrate robust financial workflows into the global platform infrastructure.
- Lead technical discussions, improve developer practices, and collaborate with engineering leads and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developing team members.
Requirements
- Extensive commercial experience as a Senior or Lead Software Engineer.
- Strong expertise in object-oriented programming, modern backend design, and database architectures.
- Experience building or integrating complex APIs, data pipelines, microservices, or financial and ledger systems.
- Ability to interpret complex technical requirements and design scalable software systems.
- Demonstrated ability to provide technical guidance to a developing team.
- Proximity or willingness to work from the Norwich Head Office, Unit 7.
