Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, integrate, document, and maintain scalable client-side and server-side software.
- Build full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, REST, Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Oracle.
- Develop test-automation suites and participate in code reviews and software-quality practices.
- Use AI coding assistants and prompt engineering to generate, refactor, debug, evaluate, and integrate production code.
- Manage release and CI/CD deployment workflows from development through production.
- Facilitate technical discussions, oversee team development work, collaborate with product and UX teams, and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline is preferred.
- At least 5 years of full-stack technical experience and 5+ years of Java, Spring Boot, REST, microservices, and event-driven architecture experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- At least 2 years of test-automation development using Cypress, Selenium, Cucumber, or similar tools.
- At least 2 years of Oracle database experience.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, AI prompting and output evaluation, and release-management and CI/CD deployment workflows.
- Strong technical and communication skills are required; financial services or fintech experience is preferred.
