Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable components of the enterprise Agentic AI Platform.
- Build distributed services and APIs for agent execution, orchestration, deployment, and lifecycle management.
- Develop abstractions and integrations across AI models, providers, runtimes, tools, and managed agent platforms.
- Engineer agent identity, authentication, authorization, permissions, policy enforcement, governance, and auditability controls.
- Build registries, catalogs, metadata systems, observability, evaluation, experimentation, and continuous-learning capabilities.
- Develop SDKs, APIs, CLIs, templates, local development environments, and self-service developer workflows.
- Design AI-specific CI/CD, deployment, promotion, rollback, release, and infrastructure-as-code capabilities.
- Establish patterns for resilience, scalability, performance, security, cost efficiency, and production operation.
- Evaluate emerging agent frameworks, protocols, models, and infrastructure technologies for enterprise use.
- Partner with product, architecture, security, risk, infrastructure, governance, and application engineering teams.
Requirements
- Strong production software engineering experience with languages such as Python, Java, Go, or TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of generative AI, LLMs, agent architectures, tool or function calling, retrieval, context management, and agent orchestration.
- Experience building production applications or platforms using major model providers or AI platforms.
- Experience with Kubernetes, containers, microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native architecture.
- Experience designing production APIs and event-driven or asynchronous systems.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, infrastructure-as-code practices, CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and software delivery.
- Strong understanding of security fundamentals including identity, authentication, authorization, secrets, and least-privilege access.
- Ability to turn ambiguous and emerging technical problems into reliable production systems and collaborate across organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Preferred experience includes LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, Google ADK, OpenAI Agents SDK, MCP, A2A, multi-agent systems, Kubernetes operators and controllers, service meshes, model gateways, vector databases, retrieval systems, embeddings, evaluation frameworks, LLM-as-judge techniques, human feedback systems, experimentation, OpenTelemetry, Langfuse, Evals, policy engines, policy-as-code, AI security, prompt-injection defenses, tool security, data-loss prevention, threat modeling, internal developer platforms, developer portals, enterprise service catalogs, and regulated distributed systems.
