Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and support native iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
- Translate business requirements, wireframes, and UX designs into accessible, localized, scalable mobile solutions.
- Build and maintain shared Swift Packages, reusable libraries, modular components, and SwiftUI component libraries.
- Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL, cloud-based services, and mobile backend systems.
- Implement accessibility features including VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, Voice Control, semantic navigation, and accessibility testing.
- Implement localization and internationalization for multiple languages, regions, and cultural contexts.
- Optimize application performance, memory utilization, responsiveness, battery efficiency, security, and reliability.
- Investigate and resolve production issues, defects, performance bottlenecks, and complex technical challenges.
- Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, and UI tests using Swift Testing, XCTest, and other testing frameworks.
- Contribute to Azure DevOps work tracking, pull requests, CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, deployments, release planning, monitoring, and production support.
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, QA analysts, stakeholders, backend developers, and fellow engineers.
- Mentor developers through technical guidance, code reviews, knowledge sharing, and collaborative problem-solving.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, information science, business, or a related field is required; a master's degree is preferred.
- At least four years of IT experience in systems programming and development is required.
- Four or more years of native iOS application development using Swift is highly preferred.
- Experience delivering mobile applications through the Apple App Store or enterprise distribution channels is highly preferred.
- Extensive experience with SwiftUI, MVVM, dependency injection, component-based design, and scalable mobile application architecture is preferred.
- Experience designing, publishing, and maintaining shared Swift Packages using Swift Package Manager is preferred.
- Experience with Apple's Human Interface Guidelines, accessibility implementation, localization, internationalization, and reusable UI frameworks is preferred.
- Experience with GraphQL, RESTful APIs, Azure, cloud-based services, and mobile backend integrations is preferred.
- Experience with Swift Concurrency, async/await, structured concurrency, multithreaded development, performance optimization, memory management, and debugging tools is preferred.
- Proficiency with Git, source control workflows, and branching strategies is preferred.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, automated build and deployment processes, and mobile testing strategies is preferred.
- Experience with Swift Testing, XCTest, unit testing, integration testing, UI testing, legacy test modernization, TDD, or BDD is preferred.
- Experience with secure mobile application practices, authentication, authorization, secure data storage, API security, analytics, crash reporting, logging, and monitoring is preferred.
- Experience mentoring developers, collaborating with business stakeholders, troubleshooting complex issues, and driving technical improvements is preferred.
