Responsibilities
- Design and implement test plans, test strategies, scenarios, and cases for software functionality and quality standards.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts and contribute to Python-based test automation frameworks.
- Build test automation pipelines using GitLab and use source control with GitLab and Git.
- Perform manual testing, execute test cases, open and verify defects, and conduct root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams on requirements, design discussions, acceptance criteria, code reviews, and defect resolution.
- Lead complex assignments, guide team members, influence stakeholders, and contribute to risk, control, policy, and process improvements.
Requirements
- Experience coding in Python to build or contribute to BDD test automation frameworks.
- Strong experience in QA, including test automation and manual testing.
- Experience building test automation pipelines using GitLab and using Git source control.
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure or AWS and understanding of landing zones.
- Extensive knowledge of the testing lifecycle, core testing processes, techniques, and different test approaches.
- Ability to provide estimates, design test plans and strategies, write test scenarios and cases, execute tests, open bugs, and verify fixes.
- Preferred: Azure certification such as AZ-104 or a comparable certification in AWS or GCP.
- Preferred: exposure to Terraform and UI and API test automation.
