Responsibilities

Design, develop, modernize, integrate, deploy, maintain, and improve cloud applications and software solutions.
Write quality Java code, perform unit testing and peer code reviews, and troubleshoot complex distributed-system issues.
Develop and provision GCP services using Terraform and support Docker and Kubernetes/Google Kubernetes Engine deployments.
Apply continuous integration and deployment practices, including source-control management, build automation, testing, and dependency management.
Provide solution architecture, functional design, technical design, programming, maintenance, and troubleshooting for enterprise applications.
Guide secure and reliable application deployment and help implement best practices for cloud migration and infrastructure modernization.
Participate in Agile squad ceremonies, Dev chapter leadership activities, planning, continuous improvement, and sprint delivery.
Collaborate with squad members, product owners, analysts, and Scrum Masters while reporting progress through team management tools.

9 to 12 years of relevant experience.
Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field, with experience in software/system engineering or a lead position.
Expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Cloud, Spring Batch, and microservice architecture.
Experience with GCP, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes or Google Kubernetes Engine, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD, preferably Jenkins.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases including Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL.
Knowledge of cloud delivery models, networking, security, infrastructure automation, continuous integration/deployment, and distributed systems.
Experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React, and CSS frameworks is preferred.
Experience with Apache, REST web services, JMS/MQ messaging, Tomcat or WildFly application servers, batch processing, testing, and debugging.
Solution architecture experience in complex environments and the ability to work effectively with global and local teams in an Agile setting.
Experience with Documentum, FileNet, SharePoint, or caching technologies such as Hazelcast, Memcached, and Redis is preferred.
