Base Salary
$174k - $239k/yr
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain enterprise-grade solutions in air-gapped environments.
- Build, run, and monitor development tools, pipelines, and infrastructure with a security-first mindset.
- Design and implement complex cloud-based engineering enablement systems.
- Maintain SLOs and SLIs without dependency on external monitoring or SaaS tooling.
- Own runbooks and incident response procedures tailored to limited external escalation paths.
- Participate in POA&M remediation and support recurring Authority to Operate activities.
- Support mission-critical services used by product teams and advocate for SRE and DevOps practices.
- Build and operate CI/CD pipelines that function without internet connectivity.
- Operate autonomously within secure facilities and provide excellent internal customer service.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as an SRE, DevOps Engineer, Cloud Automation Engineer, or Systems Engineer delivering complex infrastructure projects at scale.
- Experience with container orchestration and runtimes, including EKS, ECS Fargate, and general container usage.
- Proficiency with Terraform, Python automation development, and secure software development practices.
- Experience with Splunk, CloudWatch, and the Grafana stack.
- Experience with networking concepts including BGP and IPsec management, plus AWS networking services including VPCs, TGWs, and VPC endpoints.
- Active U.S. TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
- Must be on U.S. soil and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance as required by government contracts.
- May be subject to drug testing as required by U.S. Government contracts.
Benefits
- Annual base salary range of $174,000-$239,000 USD for specified locations, excluding San Francisco Bay Area.
