Base Salary
$157k - $196k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own features and services end to end by designing, building, shipping, and operating them in production.
- Contribute to architecture decisions across AI/agent and product systems.
- Write high-quality, tested, and observable code while supporting quality through reviews and pairing.
- Handle privacy, security, and responsible health-data practices.
- Break ambiguous product problems into shippable work and make pragmatic trade-offs.
- Partner with product, design, and data teams to turn requirements into working software.
- Mentor earlier-career engineers and raise the team’s quality bar.
Requirements
- 5+ years building and shipping production software.
- Strong engineering skills with experience owning backend services, APIs, and end-to-end features or systems.
- Experience with testing, deployment, observability, and operating production software.
- Ability to turn ambiguous problems into pragmatic, shippable solutions.
- Clear communication and effective collaboration across product, design, and engineering.
- Genuine interest in improving healthcare within an interdisciplinary team.
- Bonus experience with Kotlin, TypeScript, React, Flutter, AI/LLM product systems or agents, healthcare data or other regulated domains, mobile and backend integration, and early-stage consumer products.
