Base Salary

$156k - $253k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end development of backend features and core components from architectural design through deployment and maintenance.
  • Design and optimize high-throughput ETL/ELT pipelines that ingest and transform complex threat data.
  • Build and maintain high-performance data warehouses and scalable APIs for internal security researchers.
  • Translate cross-functional business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Contribute to code reviews, design reviews, architectural roadmaps, and engineering best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical software engineering experience.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience building large-scale enterprise applications and high-availability data APIs.
  • Professional proficiency in Java and strong knowledge of RESTful API design.
  • Experience with major cloud providers, preferably GCP or AWS, and their managed services.
  • Experience with Python for data manipulation, Linux environments, shell scripting, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD workflows.
  • Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, time-series, and graph databases.
  • Preferred qualifications include analytical solutions, machine-learning or AI-driven data pipelines, GCP services, Kafka, Spark, and GraphDB-based threat relationship mapping.

Benefits

  • Annual base salary range of $156,400.00–$253,000.00, with possible restricted stock units and bonus.
