Responsibilities

Design and implement security controls for QRT’s global technology infrastructure.
Work with Cloud, Infrastructure, and Network Operations teams to embed security into engineering and operations.
Help prevent, detect, and respond to vulnerabilities and security incidents.
Contribute to vulnerability management, security tooling, and organization-wide security awareness initiatives.
Troubleshoot and optimize designs for performance, resource usage, and power efficiency.

Be a penultimate- or final-year student completing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD.
Demonstrate interest in technology and engineering through software or hardware projects, including academic, personal, or hobby projects.
Understand foundational security principles and technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanning, password management, data encryption, and secure coding practices.
Have programming or scripting experience, preferably with Python or Bash.
Have experience with Linux command-line tools and Linux/Unix system administration fundamentals, particularly RedHat/CentOS.
Understand networking concepts including TCP/IP and Ethernet.
Demonstrate analytical problem-solving, curiosity, initiative, self-motivation, and a results-driven approach.
Complete a technical coding assessment and participate in interviews conducted on-site or via Microsoft Teams.

3–6 month programme starting in 2027.
