Responsibilities
- Oversee cloud security governance and monitoring.
- Maintain a Cloud Security Posture Management solution.
- Provide cloud security subject-matter expertise to DevOps, IT, development, and GRC teams.
- Support and maintain cloud-native security controls across Azure and Google Cloud environments.
- Conduct cloud security reviews and develop security recommendations and best-practice documentation.
- Identify weak spots, missing controls, and vulnerabilities and recommend remediation.
- Monitor emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and cloud security controls.
- Participate in investigations and responses to potential security incidents.
- Implement automation for security-related tasks.
- Assist product teams with building and maintaining secure IaaS and PaaS cloud environments.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar technical security role.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform and/or Google Workspace.
- Strong knowledge of CSPM and DSPM solutions.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure, architecture best practices, managed services, vulnerabilities, mitigations, and security best practices.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code, CI/CD, containers, serverless systems, and code or artifact repositories; hands-on experience is a plus.
- Broad IT and enterprise architecture knowledge, including TCP/IP, firewalls, proxies, Windows/Linux server operating systems, and web/database servers.
- Basic scripting skills in Python or Shell.
- Basic understanding of AI concepts and practical experience using AI tools for productivity, automation, and security workflows.
- Effective spoken and written English communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to operate effectively in an enterprise environment.
- AWS knowledge is preferred.
- Relevant security, systems, or networking certifications are preferred.
