$102k - $219k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze AI and GPU code and operating systems for performance, power, and reliability fundamentals.
- Collect telemetry and logs, investigate bugs and bottlenecks, and determine next steps using internal and external tools.
- Design, implement, and test feature and operating system improvements for the latest Windows OS.
- Plan and execute improvements with local teams, internal groups, and external silicon partners.
- Build secure, scalable, and compliant code using AI and review human- and AI-generated code.
- Use agentic AI within daily tools and processes to improve engineering productivity.
- Contribute to architecture discussions and design documents covering performance, reliability, accessibility, privacy, and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and at least 2 years of technical engineering experience coding in C, C++, C#, Python, or other relevant languages, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of modern operating system and application analysis, including Windows and Linux, is preferred.
- Four or more years of technical engineering experience with coding is preferred.
- Experience with AI workloads, APIs, application development, ONNX, ONNX Runtime, AI models, or AI/NPU hardware and driver development is preferred.
- Knowledge of GPU APIs such as DirectX and Vulkan and experience with graphical applications, games, 3D, or game engines is preferred.
- Familiarity with benchmarks such as 3DMark, Procyon AI, and MLPerf and with performance analysis is preferred.
