Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain production-ready AI solutions across Trimble’s ERP platform ecosystem.
- Build Generative AI workflows using LangChain, Azure OpenAI, foundation models, and vector search databases.
- Engineer multi-step prompts and optimize zero-shot and few-shot techniques for recommendations, document processing, and natural-language workflows.
- Evaluate LLM performance, tune model parameters, optimize latency and token economics, and establish interpretability standards.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and integration engineers to define AI-driven product capabilities.
- Explore emerging AI/ML breakthroughs, agentic frameworks, and model iterations for enterprise construction workflows.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience in Machine Learning and AI engineering, including architecting, deploying, and maintaining production-grade AI solutions.
- Hands-on expertise with Azure OpenAI, OpenAI Studio, and LLMs including GPT-4 and GPT-4o.
- Deep proficiency with LangChain and modern LLM orchestration layers.
- Experience with NoSQL platforms and vector databases such as Pinecone, Milvus, Qdrant, or Chroma.
- Strong Python fluency and solid foundations in data structures, algorithms, system design, and clean-code engineering.
- In-depth understanding of NLP, deep learning, and generative architectures such as GPT, VAEs, and GANs.
- Ability to evaluate response quality, reduce hallucinations, and optimize context retrieval.
- Experience with enterprise ERP, accounting, supply chain, RAG production architectures, or agentic workflows is preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and continuous integration pipelines for ML systems is preferred.
