Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for build, testing, security validation, deployment, and release activities.
- Build reusable GitHub Actions workflows, pipeline templates, and self-service platform capabilities.
- Develop Python and shell automation and infrastructure-as-code to reduce manual operational work.
- Automate cloud infrastructure across Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform using Terraform.
- Support CI/CD onboarding, pipeline modernization, deployment troubleshooting, and migration to standard patterns.
- Integrate SDLC, security, compliance, testing, and vulnerability-management requirements into engineering workflows.
- Implement containerized and cloud-native delivery patterns using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Improve engineering reliability and developer experience through reusable platform solutions and process automation.
- Monitor and analyze CI/CD performance and troubleshoot software delivery and infrastructure issues.
- Support DevOps capabilities through implementation, upgrades, maintenance, incident troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
- Explore AI-assisted DevOps capabilities, including coding assistants and engineering agents.
- Collaborate with application developers, platform engineers, and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
- Document platform capabilities, engineering standards, and self-service patterns.
Requirements
- Be a third-, fourth-, or fifth-year student or a graduate with a passion for business and technology.
- Have hands-on experience in DevOps, platform engineering, cloud engineering, or software engineering, including automated software delivery solutions.
- Have strong experience with Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions for implementing and maintaining CI/CD workflows.
- Have practical experience with Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform.
- Have infrastructure-as-code experience, preferably with Terraform, including reusable infrastructure components.
- Have experience with Docker and containerized application delivery; Kubernetes knowledge is strongly preferred.
- Have experience developing automation with Python and/or shell scripting.
- Have working knowledge of YAML, JSON, and configuration-as-code approaches.
- Understand SDLC and DevSecOps practices, including automated testing, security controls, vulnerability management, and compliance.
- Have experience designing reusable automation and engineering templates.
- Be able to troubleshoot complex CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and deployment issues.
- Understand SRE and observability concepts, including monitoring, reliability, and operational support.
- Knowledge of DORA metrics and engineering performance metrics is preferred.
- Have experience with or strong interest in AI-assisted software engineering, including GitHub Copilot, coding agents, or AI-assisted troubleshooting.
- Demonstrate analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, communication, autonomy, ownership, attention to detail, and continuous-learning skills.
