Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Support development, implementation, deployment, and maintenance of software platforms for intelligence and national defense missions.
- Support infrastructure and DevOps build and automation activities using programming and scripting skills.
- Assist with operations concepts, requirements, systems engineering artifacts, and related documentation.
- Integrate software and hardware subsystems to ensure seamless functionality.
- Use continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines to streamline development processes.
- Apply engineering principles to solve routine technical problems in a multidisciplinary team.
- Leverage AWS, Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes for platform optimization.
Requirements
- Be actively pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline through completion of the internship or co-op session.
- Have at least 30 hours of college credit by the start of the internship or co-op session.
- Have experience applying basic engineering principles, theories, and concepts.
- Have experience working in a collaborative team environment.
- Have experience with cloud technologies including AWS, Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- U.S. citizenship is required, and the candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
- Preferred qualifications include programming or scripting experience with Ruby, Python, Go, PowerShell, or Java.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with AWS, Rackspace, OpenStack, Chef, Ansible, DevOps automation pipelines, software and hardware integration, software development lifecycle concepts, and security engineering concepts.

- Summer 2027 internship through the Raytheon Fellowship Program.
- Participants may be eligible for a $10,000 signing bonus and an additional $10,000 bonus upon conversion to full-time employment, subject to applicable conditions.
- Fellowship participants commit to remain with Raytheon for at least two years after becoming full-time employees.
