Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the observability stack for monitoring and alerting.
- Design and develop key platform features in collaboration with team leads.
- Take ownership of 1-3 key services within Observability or Data Infra.
- Participate in on-call rotations to resolve production issues.
- Improve system resilience by automating solutions and refining SLAs/SLOs.
- Build platforms and tooling to facilitate faster deployments for engineering teams.
- Communicate effectively in a distributed environment.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team best practices.
Requirements
- 4+ years of backend engineering experience with distributed systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python and working knowledge of Golang.
- Experience with data processing systems and high-throughput API services.
- Demonstrated ability to own a service end-to-end.
- Experience with fault tolerance patterns and incident response.
- Strong testing discipline and ability to design scalable systems.
- Excellent async communication skills and proactive problem-solving.
