Responsibilities
- Build full-stack web applications that orchestrate simulation, digital-twin validation, and V&V automation workflows.
- Develop Unreal Engine-based 3D visualization interfaces using real-time factory and production data.
- Partner with manufacturing engineers and factory operators to translate production workflows into software requirements.
- Write production-quality code, comprehensive tests, and participate in code reviews and architectural discussions.
- Create tooling that compares as-built geometry, assembly sequences, and quality measurements against design specifications.
- Integrate frontend and backend systems with simulation frameworks for factory co-simulation and what-if testing.
- Develop automated V&V pipelines for integration testing, validation checks, and compliance verification.
- Deploy and operate systems in factory environments, including edge compute clusters and OT networks.
- Build data pipelines connecting CAD, PLM, factory sensor, and simulation data into visualization and validation workflows.
- Create responsive dashboards for V&V, test management, requirements traceability, and system-level validation reporting.
- Participate in on-call support for production factory systems.
- Collaborate with simulation, systems, backend, manufacturing, and enterprise systems teams.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in a software engineering role building production systems.
- Deep expertise in full-stack web development across frontend and backend systems.
- Technical fluency in software architectures, APIs, distributed systems, CI/CD, and cloud or edge infrastructure.
- Proficiency with JavaScript or TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, and modern web frameworks.
- Experience with Unreal Engine, Unity, or advanced 3D visualization frameworks such as Three.js, Babylon.js, or WebGL.
- Experience building reliable systems for real-world operational constraints such as high availability, low latency, or constrained environments.
- Strong understanding of 3D graphics, rendering pipelines, and visualization of complex geometric or spatial data.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- U.S. Person status is required to access export-controlled data.
- Preferred experience includes manufacturing, industrial, OT, MES, SCADA, PLC integration, factory automation, IoT, verification and validation, test automation, CAD/CAM, computational geometry, simulation frameworks, enterprise systems, real-time streaming, digital twins, and regulated-industry compliance.
- Preferred familiarity includes STEP, IGES, OpenCASCADE, OMNeT++, Simulink, SimPy, Gazebo, CARLA, Jama, DOORS, Polarion, Kafka, MQTT, GraphQL, WebSocket architectures, and real-time data subscriptions.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
