Responsibilities
- Lead complex, multi-system AI deployments end-to-end, including scoping, architecture, development, validation, and customer relationship management.
- Own and customize the AI workshop program, lead technical sessions, and translate workshop outputs into production requirements.
- Architect multi-agent solutions using coordination patterns appropriate to customer workflows and compliance requirements.
- Design customer- and industry-specific MCP resource packs that provide personalized intelligence to connected AI surfaces.
- Own Deployment Kit quality and documentation for the assigned pod.
- Lead enablement sprints that transfer AI deployment patterns to solutions consultants and partners through training and certification materials.
- Drive the intelligence loop by authoring strategic memos, presenting weekly field findings, contributing Agent Bricks and Skills, and filing platform improvement RFCs.
- Mentor junior FDEs through customer engagements, code reviews, and Deployment Kit quality work.
Requirements
- 6–10+ years of production software engineering experience, including 3+ years deploying AI/ML to production.
- Deep Python expertise and strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills.
- Experience leading complex enterprise technical engagements, managing customer relationships, navigating security reviews, and delivering production systems.
- Deep production LLM experience with multi-agent orchestration, MCP/tool use, RAG optimization, evaluation frameworks, and agent deployment at scale.
- System architecture expertise across enterprise systems, cloud infrastructure, and AI services.
- Ability to create reusable technical assets, including architecture documents, runbooks, strategic memos, and training materials.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to mentor and enable others.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 25–50% of the time.
- Eligible to work in Germany on an ongoing basis and fluent in English.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Preferred experience founding or scaling an FDE or solutions engineering function, or a technical founder background.
- Preferred experience with Databricks, AWS Bedrock, Temporal, Strands SDK, LangChain, or open-source MCP servers.
- Preferred domain knowledge in healthcare, financial services, or government and familiarity with AI governance, ethics, GDPR, and the UK/EU AI Act.
- German or French proficiency is an advantage.
