Responsibilities
- Design and guide execution of Datadog implementations, including requirements gathering, technical architecture, deployment, and launch support.
- Guide customer onboarding through co-development sessions and help resolve implementation roadblocks.
- Write automation and design architecture for deployment templates.
- Manage implementation project operations.
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Technical Account Management, and Sales teams to deliver customer onboarding.
Requirements
- Experience designing and delivering technical solutions for DevOps monitoring or systems architecture.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, EC2, serverless technologies, VMware, virtual machines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with configuration management, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, Chef, Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, and Azure Pipelines.
- Programming or scripting experience with Java, Python, Ruby, Go, Node.js, PHP, or .NET.
- 5+ years of experience as an architect or consultant in a professional services team.
- Ability to sit for up to four hours and travel by automobile, train, or air up to 30% of the time.
- Openness to change and use of AI tools.
