Responsibilities
- Create, document, and continuously improve a company-wide QA and test strategy.
- Participate early in requirements reviews, acceptance criteria, Definition of Ready, and architecture decisions.
- Develop, maintain, and analyze coverage for manual and automated UI, API, and end-to-end tests.
- Plan and execute exploratory, regression, go-live, and test-session activities.
- Implement, operate, and improve test automation solutions and integrate automated tests into GitLab CI pipelines.
- Maintain GitLab QA repositories, branches, and role structures.
- Set up Datadog dashboards for test and system monitoring in staging and production.
- Evaluate test reports, provide quality reporting, and derive improvement actions.
- Prioritize, track, report, and maintain software defects and the bug board.
- Manage test data and ensure staging-environment stability and functionality.
- Support build and deployment processes through minor DevOps tasks.
- Collaborate with Software Engineers, the Tech Lead, Product Owner, UX/UI, QA Services, and test automation engineers.
- Evaluate and integrate AI tools for test generation, error classification, predictive test selection, and LLM-driven error analysis.
- Contribute to QA-related tender documentation.
Requirements
- Knowledge of project management and documentation tools including JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience with UI automation using Playwright with TypeScript and Appium.
- Experience with API testing using ReadyAPI.
- Experience with Git and GitLab for version control and CI/CD workflows.
- Experience with cross-browser and mobile testing using BrowserStack and mobile test devices.
- Experience with monitoring and observability using Datadog.
- Familiarity with Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, AI-based test generation, and LLM-driven error analysis.
- Ability to work with custom-built test and data matrices.
