Responsibilities
- Apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical concepts to develop software for target applications.
- Develop embedded software for real-time control of advanced tactical radio equipment throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Develop software test procedures, programs, and related documentation.
- Evaluate hardware/software interfaces, operational performance requirements, and overall system design.
- Use modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results.
- Participate in peer reviews and identify, track, and repair defects.
Requirements
- Applicants must be pursuing a master's degree or have completed a master's degree within the last 12 months in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, electrical engineering, wireless engineering, information security, mathematics, digital arts and sciences, or a related field.
- Preferred skills include experience with one or more listed programming languages, platforms, operating systems, software engineering methods, real-time controls, wireless systems, robotics, software security, Hadoop, Android, or embedded systems.
