Responsibilities
- Apply classroom-learned engineering and software skills to defense-related projects.
- Develop solutions supporting national security and defense missions.
- Work with engineers and customers on high-stakes mission-related software projects.
- Contribute to software development, testing, or integration activities.
Requirements
- Be enrolled in an accredited degree program in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline.
- Preferably have sophomore-level or higher academic standing.
- Have taken computer science courses including Java and/or C++, with additional coursework such as data structures, algorithms, computer security, and operating systems preferred.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance within a reasonable time after hire; clearance is preferred at the time of hire.
