Responsibilities
- Own technical direction and architecture for custom software solutions while leading teams through design and delivery.
- Design, automate, deploy, and support scalable cloud-native platforms using Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and GitHub.
- Develop Terraform infrastructure-as-code solutions and Ansible playbooks, roles, inventories, and configuration management automation.
- Build and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines integrated with GitHub repositories and automated deployment workflows.
- Configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and scale Kubernetes and Amazon EKS environments.
- Deploy applications using Helm, Kustomize, and GitOps practices with rolling, blue-green, and canary release strategies.
- Manage Docker containerization, image optimization, registries, and deployment workflows.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, observability, security, IAM governance, secrets management, vulnerability remediation, and compliance controls.
- Investigate production incidents, perform root cause analysis, support critical platforms, and implement preventive measures.
- Participate in change management, release governance, disaster recovery, platform upgrades, documentation, runbooks, and modernization initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of professional experience is required; the posting also specifies 5+ years of relevant experience in Kubernetes, AWS, DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.
- Strong proficiency in Kubernetes and Amazon EKS administration, deployment management, troubleshooting, and platform engineering.
- Hands-on Terraform experience covering infrastructure provisioning, module development, and state management.
- Strong Ansible experience with playbooks, roles, dynamic inventory, and configuration management.
- Experience designing and managing Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and GitHub repositories, workflows, branching strategies, pull requests, and repository management.
- Hands-on Docker experience and strong AWS experience with services including VPC, IAM, EC2, Auto Scaling, EKS, ECR, S3, CloudWatch, and managed data services.
- Experience with Helm, Kustomize, Kubernetes deployment automation, Linux administration, Bash, and Python scripting.
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, alerting, production support, incident handling, security controls, and enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure.
- Preferred experience includes Argo CD, Flux, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes ecosystem tools, observability platforms, infrastructure-as-code security tools, service meshes, AWS Media Services, multi-region architectures, disaster recovery, FinOps, ServiceNow, and IT service management.
- AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, or DevOps certifications are advantageous; experience in Agile, DevOps, and cloud transformation programs is preferred.
- A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is required.
