Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure for AI/ML applications and services.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and machine-learning model deployments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Deploy and manage containerized workloads with Kubernetes.
- Implement MLOps workflows for model training, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
- Optimize cloud resources for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Monitor platform health, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure high availability.
- Implement security practices including secrets management, IAM, compliance controls, and DevSecOps.
- Establish observability through logging, monitoring, and distributed tracing.
- Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, software developers, platform teams, business analysts, and product managers.
- Design, develop, test, debug, and implement complex enterprise software enhancements and platform solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, code reviews, troubleshooting, and customer documentation support.
- Develop automated and manual tests and contribute to development and test methodologies.
- Coordinate cross-team activities and participate in Agile development practices.
Requirements
- At least 8–12+ years of DevOps, cloud-platform, AI/ML infrastructure, and software engineering experience is described; the detailed qualifications specify a minimum of 12 years of progressively responsible professional software engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or another technical field is required; a master’s degree is strongly preferred.
- Strong experience with at least one major cloud platform, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Expertise in Linux administration, containerization, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and MLOps.
- Experience supporting AI/ML workloads in production, including model deployment, serving, monitoring, GPU infrastructure, and distributed training environments.
- Experience with enterprise application architecture, platform-based solution design, cloud-native services, microservices, and production delivery.
- Experience with object-oriented programming, operating systems, relational databases, scripting, advanced programming languages, and high-performance multi-tier applications.
- Experience with Java, C#, SQL, JavaScript, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Kafka, and message-based systems; Snowflake and PostgreSQL experience are preferred.
- Experience with Agile development methodology, software testing, code reviews, API documentation, and collaborative problem solving.
- Preferred qualifications include LLM and generative-AI platforms, RAG architectures, multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments, relevant AWS/Azure/GCP/Kubernetes/Terraform certifications, Python automation, data pipelines, streaming technologies, and internal developer platforms.
- Financial-services experience in portfolio management, trading, compliance, post-trade, IBOR, or wealth management is strongly desired.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with peers are required.
