Responsibilities
- Support distribution center operations on the legacy iSeries WMS while executing migration tasks for Manhattan Active Warehouse Management.
- Configure Manhattan Active WM for distribution center workflows, inventory strategies, and sorting parameters.
- Design, develop, and deploy operational reports and dashboards using Cognos SCI.
- Build, modify, and test logistics documents, compliance labels, and operational reports.
- Gather technical and business requirements and document user stories and project work in Jira.
- Write test cases, validate data flows, debug configuration issues, and participate in system integration and user acceptance testing.
- Provide technical support during go-live and hypercare periods, both on site and remotely.
- Manage and troubleshoot GCP data integration patterns connecting warehouses, carriers, and customers.
- Progressively support transportation management systems and other integrated logistics applications.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of hands-on software development and systems analysis experience in the warehouse management or supply chain logistics domain.
- Extensive experience with IBM iSeries (AS/400), including RPG, RPGLE, CL, and SQL for database management and data extraction.
- Deep knowledge of distribution center processes including receiving, put-away, inventory management, replenishment, picking, sorting, wave management, and outbound shipping.
- Hands-on experience with or training in Manhattan Active Warehouse Management or recent Manhattan WMOS versions is highly preferred.
- Experience with or strong aptitude to learn Cognos SCI for supply chain reporting.
- Proficiency using Jira for requirements, task tracking, and Agile project documentation.
- Ability to analyze technical logs, map data across systems, resolve integration issues, and translate technical matters into business requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
