Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based back-end applications, services, and APIs.
- Write efficient, reusable, documented code following development standards.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Implement database schemas, write complex SQL queries, and optimize database performance using Oracle SQL.
- Develop and consume web services for integration with external systems.
- Build enterprise applications using Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.
- Manage project dependencies and build processes with Maven.
- Use Git for code management and collaboration.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and quality assurance for back-end components.
- Stay current with back-end development technologies, trends, and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- More than five years of experience in Java back-end development.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with Oracle SQL and database design.
- Familiarity with web services and API development, including SOAP and OAuth-related authentication and authorization.
- Experience with Maven and Git.
- Knowledge of application servers including Tomcat and WebLogic.
- Experience with Jenkins and familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced agile environment.
- Preferred experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines, software development best practices, and design patterns.
