Responsibilities
- Lead the ground-up re-architecture and implementation of core risk and regulatory platforms.
- Apply governance to solution design, code quality, and coding standards.
- Drive scalable, maintainable, performant, and high-availability systems.
- Act as a technical escalation point for the team during and outside office hours.
- Monitor team adherence and output, manage work estimation, and produce solution documents.
- Understand and oversee the technical structure, domain, architecture, and low-level delivery of systems through production.
- Collaborate with managers, architects, and stakeholders to create fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Mentor and coach team members and facilitate knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Commercial experience leading development solutions.
- Knowledge of Kafka, SQL, .NET, Golang, or TypeScript.
- Effective team mentoring and coaching skills.
- Technical documentation skills.
- A proven track record in high-availability, multi-browser-compatible development.
- Experience with high-availability, multiuser, service-based systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant discipline.
