Base Salary
$99k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, test, deploy, and operate end-to-end AI pipelines for mission systems.
- Develop reproducible AI/ML pipelines and automate operational workflows.
- Integrate LLMs and agentic workflows into production software stacks.
- Optimize data flow and support monitoring, observability, and resilient mission execution across hybrid compute environments.
- Collaborate with AI model engineers, data engineers, cloud architects, and ISSEs to align workflows with infrastructure and security requirements.
- Evaluate emerging AI and ML tools, frameworks, libraries, and deployment patterns.
- Help modernize mission workflows and define AI/ML strategy.
Requirements
- Experience developing with Python or Rust.
- Experience with Git.
- Experience integrating LLMs or agentic workflows within software stacks.
- Experience with containerization or orchestration technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- HS diploma or GED and 6+ years of software engineering or AI/ML engineering experience, or a bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience.
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Preferred qualifications include 10+ years of software engineering or AI/ML engineering experience.
- Preferred experience includes JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS, AI agent frameworks, and Retrieval Augmented Generation solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree and experience evaluating emerging AI/ML frameworks, libraries, or toolchains are preferred.
