Responsibilities
- Lead architecture, design reviews, scalability decisions, technical standards, code reviews, and documentation for enterprise software products.
- Build and maintain scalable full-stack applications, RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-native services on AWS or Azure.
- Design, build, and evaluate AI agents and multi-agent workflows, including agent instructions, skills, memory, tool integrations, and MCP-based connections.
- Use AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or comparable tools for code authoring, review, testing, and documentation.
- Write and execute unit and integration tests, troubleshoot deployment and environment issues, and apply performance, observability, and reliability practices.
- Mentor engineers and collaborate with Product, Implementation, and Support teams in a globally distributed Agile organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience, plus 6+ years of progressive commercial software development experience.
- Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, system design, and distributed computing.
- Production-quality experience with C# and .NET, React or a comparable frontend framework, NUnit or xUnit, and Git/Azure DevOps.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server, including query optimization, RESTful API design, and production performance engineering.
- Hands-on AWS experience with Lambda, ECS, RDS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, and related cloud-native tooling.
- Hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor, including prompt and system-instruction development.
- Understanding of AI agents, skills, tool-calling, and multi-step agentic workflows; familiarity with Anthropic API, OpenAI API, LangChain, or Semantic Kernel is preferred.
- Preferred experience includes HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React or Next.js, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, TDD/BDD, AI observability tooling, and the Microsoft development ecosystem.
