Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable native applications and features across iOS and other Apple platforms.
- Ship high-quality customer-facing features that improve the Apple support journey.
- Create intuitive user experiences with strong attention to quality and detail.
- Collaborate with peers, management, and business partners to champion and deliver technical ideas.
- Integrate or support innovative experiences such as Generative AI-based customer support applications.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining native iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
- Strong object-oriented programming and design skills with Swift, including practical experience with Concurrency and Swift Testing.
- Deep familiarity with Foundation, Core Animation, AVFoundation, and relevant iOS SDKs.
- Knowledge of iOS platform changes, architectural patterns, Apple Human Interface Guidelines, sandboxing, security, privacy, code signing, and deployment best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- Understanding of Protocol Buffers, JSON, REST, and similar web-service communication protocols.
- Preferred: experience developing native macOS applications with Swift, SwiftUI, and AppKit/Cocoa.
- Preferred: experience maintaining Objective-C codebases.
- Preferred: experience integrating AI/ML models using Core ML, Create ML, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or external frameworks.
- Preferred: experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for Apple platforms.
- Preferred: familiarity with Generative AI concepts, LLMs, diffusion models, and mobile or desktop applications.
