Responsibilities
- Plan test scenarios, acceptance criteria, test plans, and test cases based on software specifications.
- Set up and maintain test environments and support test planning and workflow optimization.
- Execute functional, regression, exploratory, usability, and user acceptance testing.
- Perform manual testing, analyze ADB logs, identify defects, and report software bugs.
- Participate in test automation and maintain or update test scripts.
- Track defect fixes, perform re-testing verification, and collaborate with PMs, SAs, and developers on issue resolution.
- Analyze test execution data and prepare comprehensive test reports.
- Provide on-site services at client locations when required by project needs.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of practical software testing experience with familiarity with the Software Testing Life Cycle and bug management workflows.
- Ability to independently design test cases, execute tests, analyze issues, and write test reports.
- Experience with Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Proficiency in at least one of C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Hands-on capability in ADB log troubleshooting and issue diagnostics.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, including the ability to explain issue scenarios, reproduction steps, and impact scope.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively and provide on-site client support as required.
- Preferred: experience or willingness to learn automated testing tools such as Playwright or Selenium and script writing.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with API testing using Postman or Swagger, or performance testing tools such as JMeter.
