Base Salary
$140k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own greenfield product features from inception through implementation, experimentation, launch, and continued improvement.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, data scientists, and engineers to develop effective solutions.
- Architect REST APIs backed by stable, scalable server-side implementations.
- Write efficient, maintainable, readable, and testable code.
- Build scalable backend systems and distributed CRUD functionality using SQL and NoSQL technologies.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative engineering environment.
Requirements
- BA or BS in computer science or a related degree.
- Experience building and shipping scalable backend features.
- Experience building scalable and maintainable backend systems.
- Experience authoring REST APIs; OpenAPI knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with distributed CRUD functionality, ideally across both SQL and NoSQL systems.
- Comfort with or desire to master Golang and Java.
- Ability to work cross-functionally, take ownership, troubleshoot, and build user-focused products.
